Your Cricket Helmet + Pads ?

im gonna get myself a new paor of pads and a helmet, ive currently got a albion club edition helmet which i dont really like, it annoys me when i bat and its far to bulky = \

im thinking of getting either a woodworm helmet or a masuri helmet, but i cant decide what one to get.

ive got woodworm gloves and they are the best pair of gloves ive ever owner, so the helmet could be really comfortable aswel, can someone get me some pics of the padding inside the woodworm helmet (today if possible) thanks.

the masuri helmet looks just about the right size and its really light ive read, can someone post pics of the padding inside that - today if possible again lol - reason being im going to get a new helmet tomorow and cant decide what one.

also has anyone got/used woodworm performance pads ? are they any good ?

If your gonna get a helmet and can afford it, I'd get a Masuri. They're easily the best, easily. Dead lightweight etc. Once you've had one a while you'll wonder how to coped without.

As for gloves the majority are all much of a muchness.

yeah, i thought masuri would be best, i wouldnt be able to fork out £80 or what ever it is for the titainium grill though, theres not much point lol, id get the £50 one, its still as good though ? just a touch heavier

Blatently the new Slazenger helmet.

If this isn't the sexiest helmet of all time i don't know what is. Slaz pads aswell tbh, the whole slazenger kit this year is the sex. As soon as i can afford it i'm going to kit myself out with a Slazenger Pro Blade, Pair of Slaz gloves and a new Slaz kit bag. Slazenger stuff is beyond sexy this year.

lol, the helmets are made by masuri but they just soe the slazenger logo on the back instead of masuri and put 2 pink form pieces in the side. its some contract slazenger have got with masuri = \ i reckon im gonna get the masuri helmet that costs sumthing like £50 and a pair of woodworm batting pads, probs premier or performance, i ll post some pics tomurow maybe

I reckon Puma and Gunn and Moore do good pads. Or even Kookaburra. They are simple and comfortable.

So You Can Expect Them To Be Miles Better That A Woodworm.

yeah i tried the woodworm helmet on, i didnt really like it, it reminded me of the old slazenger helmets lol it was horrible.

i got the steel grille masuri, the titanium one isnt worth ?80 or what ever it is, the steel masuri is light enough lol, i play 3rd team cricket

my pads are really nice, theyre light and got alot of padding inside, kookaburra are a quality company, they make really nice bats and very good protection by the looks of it.

i ll try to get a pic of my pads and helmet on here in the next few days, im borrowing a digital camera tomurow, putting my albion helmet on ebay, so i ll take a few pics of my kit while im at it

The only thing I have that isn't slazenger is my helmet and my shoes. I got V300 pads and gloves

I need some new pads though, so I'm not going to hesitate in getting Slazenger ones. Slazenger are awesome.
