Story ICC 08 - I dunnow what to name this.

You told me that you were pretty good at this work but how wrong you were!!
You are damn good mate!!! :cheers
You can get more vcash for the job.About 50% more.

Actually I forgot to add the other zero. 1000 it is. And i'll add an extra 500 if you win the CC.

Well, I won't exactly win the CC, considering I'm in division 2, and doing that would require half of Division 1 suddenly being disqualified, a mid-season promotion, and a touch of luck. I won't rule it out though.

Well i'll add 500 if you win any trophy or come 1st any any division ;).

Runs flow through Brook as Flower fails to Blossom

Ugh, that Pun even made me squirm!

Right, onto the match. We were struggling at 131/4 after a poor first session on a really flat pitch. I was aiming for 400, but anything about 350 would be good here. Out walked Grant Flower and James Middlebrook, while Langely and Dean took the ball.

Together, Flower and Middlebrook progressed very nicely. This pitch was still quite nice to bat on, and the seamers weren't looking very effective.

Middlebrook shows the bowler the maker's name. Except for the fact that the bat doesn't have one. Oh well, it's 4 runs anyways.

Together, James and Grant put on 71 for the fifth wicket, just what we needed. But, as you can guess, one of them did get out. And it was Grant Flower, edging pie chucker/eater Rikki Clarke to the keeper.

James Foster the new man in. Middlebrook proceeded at his serene pace, and eventually brought up a fine fifty by punching Dean away for four...

...and was out the next ball.

I added my own touch to that image too. Can you tell?

Out walked Naps with just about 40 minutes to go to the end of the session, and us at 201/6. With a grave look, I turned to Naps and said, "Hang in there Son". He burst out laughing and ran out to the middle. Twat.

Napier being Napier, he didn't stick around, and set about scoring at a free pace. Foster supported him well, and we finished the session without losing another wicket. Foster and Naps put on 48 runs at about a run-a-minutes, and at 249/6, things were looking better. Both these men were going well, and we could realistically push up to about 300, even 350. Possibly 400 with a century from someone.

12 boundaries were hit in the day, out of which I estimate atleast 11 were cover drives! And so I present to you, the shot of the day! The Coverdrive!

One more session to go in the day. Can we push up past 300? Will we lose another wicket? Will these men get their fifties? Will Napier stop being a prat? We shall soon find out!

Hmm, for some reason the images in my post don't seem to be working. Atleast I can't see them. Anyone know why?

:D It's Middlebrook getting bowled actually, and yea, that's the only one I see too.

Let me try re-uploading them...

ZoraxDoom added 18 Minutes and 31 Seconds later...

There we go, all the images work now!

I'm a bit sloppy with the updates, aren't I? :p

And another update is just on it's way! :banana2 (God I hate that smiley)
