Have to say I can't wait for this game, have had most of the earlier editions and just brought ICC 2001 back out from the closet a month or so ago. What a game, can't wait for new version :)

I am going to pre order it right now!

How about anyone else?

Where are you getting this 3 overseas players rule from?

Well most current county teams have 3 overseas players. Sussex have, Mushy, Goodwin. Surrey have Singh, the Aussie bloke and a batsman can't remember who.

Counties are only allowed 2 overseas players. They are allowed to replace them in the event of injury or international call-ups, which is a feature I'd like to see in ICC 2005.

Are Hampshire cheating or something? Warnie, Katich/McMillan, Pothas, Ervine(?)
Warne: Overseas Player
Katich: Overseas Player
McMillian: Overseas Player - Replacement for Katich
Pothas: EU Passport (Greece) - not an overseas player
Ervine: EU Passport (Republic of Ireland) - not an overseas player

A couple of season ago before Law got his British Citizenship they had Law, Hooper and Murali.

Goodwin is a Kolpak player, so Sussex's two overseas players are Mushy + Naved

Hooper and Murali never played in the same season.

In 2004 Lancashire's overseas players at the start of the season were Law and Hooper.

Dinesh Mongia came in to replace an injured Carl Hooper.
When Carl Hooper recovered, Stuart Law got injured, so Dinesh Mongia stayed on.
When Stuart Law recovered, Dinesh Mongia left.

At no point did Lancashire pick 3 overseas players in one side.

Check the ECBs playing conditions if you like.

I challenge you to find a match in 2003, 2004 or 2005 where 3 overseas players played in the same game.
