Looks like Bangladesh took Ireland's spot. Surely the Irish must automaticly qualify.

Wait, why have we got two in 2 years? Wasn't it meant to be every 2nd year?

Overkill to the max. And why have the Windies got it? They failed miserably in 07. Let the bloody Aussies have something.

Agree 100%. Even if the 50 over World Cup and the Twenty20 World Cup are in the same year. You basically summed up my feelings about this.

Australia last held a World Cup in 1992 and supposedly the next one we host is in 2015. Talk about a long gap! Especially with some countries hosting events all the time.

I am not saying Bangladesh and Australia should have to qualify either. Its just strange the way they have done it.

Making it to the second round should be automatic qualification and as it is now all test playing nations are in to.

Yeah they've obviously changed the seeding rules. I prefer this way, since there is no group of death based on what happened 2 years ago (which is what happened for this years tournament).

Well not too bad considering our early exit. Still will be the group of death but not as dangerous compared to this year where we had the runners up and semi finalist.

Still winning the comp didn't help Pakistan much they ended up in the hardest group and SL the same. Surely they should have been in one of the qualifying teams group.

Thank God Australia's not in the tough group.:happy But we can never underestimate Bangladesh so Australia can't get too overconfident.

If everything goes as per script all 8 top teams will be in Super 8. Dont see anything wrong with that. Not too bothered about Saffers being in our group. We play better against fancied sides rather than those which are given no chance.
