Damn, had banter with my csk friends, but tbh, we'll lose the opener, last time we won a season opener was way back in 2011, and was against CSK! Let's hope for the best, it's no sense but I love to predict, my top 4:

Nice reverse jinx attempt there. But the truth is, everything is stacked up against CSK for the IPL opener. As @NilayShah60 has put it above, MI has the wood over CSK at 8-2 in the last 10 games that these two sides have faced in IPL. And last year, MI did a 4-0 on CSK on their way to the IPL title. And as I have mentioned in my posts above, CSK have had a delayed start to their training vs MI who have started much early. And CSK are hit by some significant losses of personnel (Raina, Harbhajan) and have old legs and added to that, no top flight cricket played for months.

MI should start overwhelming favorites at 70-30 vs CSK.

Not really, have been feeling it, its literally almost 10 years, so its become a norm in the mind.

On a side note, there’s a high chance that the IPL anthem this year is plaigarised.

The beat and the music have been taken from a hip hop artist, KRSNA’s 2017 single, with the lyrics even bearing similarity. I didn’t expect this from IPL,man!

There is a minor similarity in how the song is composed I guess .. with hindi rap followed by english chorus with similar beats, but the hook is different, lyrics are different. There is no tune or melody in either song, so that cannot be compared - which is usually important to call our plagiarism.

This is scary! I just got word that ‘Music Composer’s Association of India’ has suggested that plagiarisation of Hip Hop songs is permissible in their opinion because all hip hop songs sound the same. Shabaash! Tumhara khoon khoon, hamara khoon paani!

Ouch ! That has got to hurt. While I kind of agree with the assessment because I too feel the same way often times, but coming from some group called Music Composer's Association of India, this sounds quite silly.

Very excited! And the butterflies, since the first game is CSK facing up to MI. Would be Dhoni's return to the cricket field (top flight cricket) after that heartbreaking run out to end India's 2019 WC semifinal hopes and to end Dhoni's international career.

Deep inside my heart I still want to see him in the blues Captaining the side but practically it is too much to ask for. I probably want to see him play and Captain the side. Even if it is CSK I would want him to succeed to some extent. Just want to see him back on the field.
