Got to feel sad for Buttler but I guess he wouldn't mind. 8 hundreds under 120 innings would have been aweinspiring though.

Anyway what a win! Being a GT fan it's not healthy for one's heart lol The management comes up with the most average looking squad and somehow team still does it. Just wow!

They are riding on their top order. The day they lose top 3 in first 10 overs forget about losing them in powerplay, they don't have anyone who can get them to the 20th over. I think they should use Washington Sunder better. They also missed the plot by not bowling Sai Kishore until the last over. Yes Axar is a local Gujarat player and a leftie but Sai Kishore has been our best spinner and should have bowled more overs. Shows a lack of confidence from the captain.

I just hope Krunal is not brought into India contention. Despite this brilliant innings, he isn't really a backup of someone like Axar the all-rounder in the team. Washington probably can fit in to play Jaddu/Axar-esque role if required.

I doubt this would happen. Bringing him into the fold would mean 3 similar persons in the team- Jadeja, Axar and him. Krunal Pandya has never been the player to excite the masses. He is more like a one-hit wonder who can't be relied upon consistently.

Furthermore, the focus does seem to be heavy on Washington- the Gambhir management seems keen on developing him into an all format player- to replace Jadeja when it eventually happens. I also believe, Sai Kishore has a better chance of making the Indian team than K-Pandya at this stage.
