We call him People's Captain, if given chance in international stage to lead the side like Rohit, he will win atleast one ICC cup for us. I dunno why Gill & Sky are made captains without any track record in leading the sides. Rowdy Iyer took DC to final, KKR to their 3rd cup, Punjab to their 1st, Is that I'd love to see.

I dont understand why the media isn't abuzz with Shreyas as India captain. When Hardik led GT to the title, there was an immediate clamour for him to be made India captain, despite his idiosyncrasies. Shreyas, has now led 3 different IPL team to the final, won it with one of them+ won a Ranji final as captain.I really wish he gets Punjab over the line- he has played a masterful, captains knock here.
Onto the final, I feel the 2 best teams of the tournament are competing here. The reason I don't want RCB winning is cause it will take all credit away from Patidar, who has done a marvellous job. If RCB wins by hook/crook, the hero will be Virat(even if he scores a duck). I still feel Punjab is better aligned to run Bangalore through- yes, they were humiliated in Mullanpur, but have come back stronger, against a stronger opposition. Fingers crossed for a great final!
P.S- We will finally have a new IPL Champion after 18 long years!
