Indian Premier League - General Discussion

It looks like you have not been following the IPL playoffs\knockout schedule since lat decade:D
Haha I did but didn't follow the points table or game numbers/stage this time that's why I lost track of the top 2 teams. Honestly, I have not been able to follow since the resumption of the season.

I have seen this kinda Washi's knock with bat in TNPL few times, glad he is doing this in IPL.

Holy moly, boom cleaned him up with a bullet, but still 48 with strike rate of over 200. With Sai at other end nearing 100 striking at 170, GT need Rutherford, SRK, Tewaita & Rashid to play freely.

Still need 70, if Sai can still stand at one end striking at 170 and others like Rutherford doing now, clearing the fence frequently, GT will win this easily.

755

This match is getting better and better

That full toss to Sai might be the game changer for MI. Not posting any shit, still this match is done. Great game.

So 759 it is for Sai. VK's 973 from 2016 is still not in danger, but VK did that in 16 innings, even a ton for Sai in next match, if he played it, would have only got Sai to 859 in 16 innings.

MI looking dangerous enough for another title. Bairstow at the top changes the dynamics big time. Might get them over the line in the next games as well.

Watched the highlights. Rohit made GT pay for their butter fingers. Mendis had a horrid day. Happy to see Washington batting the way he did. I have criticized his batting being unsuitable for limited overs at the international level but in the two good innings he has played in the few chances he has got this season, he has shown signs of brilliance. Boy! What a ball it took to get rid of him. I hope he translates his batting form for India as well.

GT batsmen played exceedingly well despite losing Gill early to the Kiwi smiling assassin. Mendis got out unfortunately and at the wrong time.

Like I have said, GT have wasted money on Tewatia. Glenn Phillips' unavailability in the absence of Buttler was a shot in the arm too.

All in all I am happily surprised they made it this far with the squad they had and being marred with unavailability of key players during the season (Phillips and Rabada).

The bright spots that I can see from this season is Sai Sudarshan transforming into a completely different player, Prasidh Krishna and Sai Kishore being shown a lot of faith on and Washington getting the chance to showcase his batting prowess.
