cant figure out agarkar...he does well in one match.gets walloped in d next, makes 5 ducks in a row, scores a century at Lord's

I don't think Pathan ' ll be coming in at number 3 every match.
This is just an expoerimentation of Chappell's with the team.We saw in Lanka too when he asked Kaif to open the batting for one match.
So I don't really think Greggie is pretty much sure about the batting combo and he'll change it every match depending upon the situation.

Actually Agrakar made 7 ducks in a row agiasnt the aussies a World record, not even the worlds worst number 11 would break that.

He is better off as the Bombay Duck

Yeah the thing is that he is not consistent with his form.
So if groomed well he might even be as good as Symonds ( or maybe razzak )
Agarkar bowls well and fast(limited to certain wickets only)
He bats in the most unusual of all conditions.I remember him scoring 95 against the west indies in an odi too.

Agarkar has been a perfect enigma.... He had a poor game here in Nagpur.. Now here in Mohali, he comes up with an inspired spell and a superb throw to get rid of Vaas.... He has been like this for a long time...... I wish the selectors move on over him... VRV Singh needs a look in soon. We need another fast bowler to back up Sreesanth at the top for the World Cup. Pathan has to drop down to one change coz he doesnt have the pace to be an opening bowler....

Agarkar will never be an all rounder. He can however fix up his bowling. He has potential, just needs to perform more consistently.

zaheer khan's future looks bleak with d likes of sreesanth n other fast bowlers demandin d attention of selectors

Khan has been given plenty of chances and so has nehra.
it time to change and i'm happy that the youngsters have delivered. The oldies will really have fight it out for their spot in the team.

If they can't cement a place in the current Indian side they never will. With young guys coming through Nehra and Khan may have played their last games.

Nehra: No
Zaheer: yes

pathan has the capability of being an allrounder, but i really want him to spearhead the bowling attack. He's awesome with the new ball.. Absolutley leathel...but its up to the selectors....

Nehra is a very good bowler. Was our best one when we played in Lanka and Zimbabwe!

But, sadly, its not like he is below 25, and he is wayy too injury prone.

Zaheer however, is very good :)

Zaheer is definitely making a comeback soon! He seems to have hit his straps beautifully and has picked up two six-wicket hauls in 3 innings so far!

Nehra - unless something dramatic happens, he's finished! On the first place, I wasnt too impressed with him. Always breaking down with injuries!

Pathan and all rounder status has really died down since the 1st game. He hasn't done much with bat or ball. I think the Indians just see him as a bowler that can bat.

He reminds me of Vettori-may not look like it, but is an extremely good batsman.
