I've hit a small problem with the gob file....
Each kit is also saved in 256 x 256, 128 x 128, 64 x 64 and 32 x 32, one after the other in the gob file. What I am proposing to do is to work out the location of every kit file in the game and provide a file with that data in for use with my new editor.
It now will actually be an editor, as I am in the process of making it import bitmap images, as long as they are stored in a 256 colour adaptive pallette format. I hope someone out there knows what I'm on about.
Anyway, you'll have to amuse yourselves by simply viewing the textures with my program for the while, until I release the next version.
I have exams over the next few days so won't be working on it for a while, but I trust you are all willing to wait.
Seeing as I'm the only person who has figured out the file format, you're going to have to wait!
