there are two missing.
FF deadbat and BF deadbat against spinners

there's a diff dead bat and defence, in defence, the backhand is stiff,
while in presenting a deadbat, the backhand is taken off.

(used by Indians generally against spin, no english man does it)

Also there should be one like FF latecut

Will there be options for stepping down the pitch to play some of these shots p ?

of course, as mentioned you can move left, right or back and advance forwards down the pitch. So you can combine movement with any of those shots to get some great effects...remember you can move right up to the point where the bat hits the ball...

i pulled off a great move where i advanced down the pitch and made a ball into a full toss and on drove it beautifully...looked really nice :D

Would be wrong to play the game if you can't play Gillespie's trademark dead bat :D

How could you have a 'dead bat' if a cricket bat was never alive in the first place? That's what I'd like to know. Thanks.

I think he means just to block the ball with the bat,so that its kind of like a defensive FF and BF shots.

Is it really that important? There is virtually no difference between a dead bat and a front or back foot block.

When the wood was in a tree it was living. So I suppose every shot is played with a dead bat.

Legend, I'll have to work on finding a clip, but surely you've seen the Gillespie style of stepping as far forward as he possibly can and leaving the bat behind, and letting the ball come on to the bat. It's his one shot really.

i would just like to see many types of shots which run down to third man, especially a very well tweaked late cut

i dont think it needs to be a seperate shot to be honest...you can already simulate that by just tapping the power bar..it'll drop the ball at your feet...

and you can guide it down to 3rd man already.... ;)
