lofted shots fix?

Regarding the lofted shots being too easy in the game, is there some setting which mitigates this -- e.g. playing a test on hard with edited low batsman ratings, action cam and no HUD? or is it always very easy to hit lofted shots for boundaries making the game practically useless..

this issue is the main thing keeping me from buying the game (based on the reviews ive read so far)

Whilst lofted shots (Even on hard) are too easy, I personally don't fined it that easy to play them consistently.

It's easier to play them in tests because of poor default fields leaving many gaps in cover/mid wicket region, meaning even a poorly timed 6 hit often doesn't result in a wicket
ODI's though I find carries a higher risk (on hard)
