Mass Effect 2

You guys are slow. I have managed to finish the game last night. :P
:banana2:banana2

I did every mission available. Finished with a level 25 player.:D Would start again in a few days to enjoy it from a different angle. By the way, here is a small video created by me.

Mass Effect 2: Shepard Chronicles

It contains footage from the start of the game, then some footage of actual gameplay and cutscenes and then the last Suicide mission cutscenes complete. I am not very good with video editing but it does look like a nice little movie. Had to downgrade the video in size to upload fast.(almost 700mb).

The raw format recording in fraps of these videos was about 56 gb.

Mass Effect 2 is indeed a RPG game but it doesnt meen that non-RPG fan cannot enjoy it.

It is up to you how you approach the game. I played with a Sentinel and used the left shift key to pause the action a million times in the game. I talked with all of the characters and did all the quests and side quests. So i got a authentic RPG experience and i loved it. I dont know how i gonna wait for ME 3. The final mission is EPIC. and yeah "Shepard" Survived in my play through, he didnt die. But tali,Dr. Chakwas and rest of the crew died :crying. Tali took a headshot to save shepard :hpraise.

The FPS and shooter fans can play it as a pure shooter game too. Just assign the powers to the shortcut keys so you dont have to pause the battle to use powers and play a a Soldier who have a lot of guns. So go bang bang.

Grrrrrhhhhhhh:mad::mad:

Stupid megavideo.com. Taking so long to convert the files. Its been almost half and hour since the upload complete message came. :(

I have a album of pictures that I took in various planets of ME 1, in my profile here.. they were stunning! They have improved over here and so more varied as well. I play without Filmgrain effect and with 8X AA the vistas of the planets appear so gorgeous. Have to agree with AngryPixel, it really does make you compare the scens of Crysis and ME 2. It'll be interesting to see Crysis 2 which'll be coming later this year.

Only complaint I have so far about this game is about the placement of squad member's icon..lol. Sometime when you view Shephard from the front the two icon appears side by side where....

Hahaha! Love the dragon armor. I'm supposed to get the Terminus armor and a special gun but I'm having problems getting that. Loving the game so far btw.

Worth Getting for the new game beginner? I have finished MW2, BAA, AC so dont know how is this type of game.

BTW I haven't played ME1 so is this game it's sequence?

Yeah the story is heavily dependent on the first one, I would strongly recommend playing it first. Besides, you can transport your character from your first game's save into the second one. I played the first one twice, once as a paragon and then as a renegade. That means I'll be playing this one at least twice. :)

I dont think it should be a big problem for those who doesnt have ME1 or save games. Coz after initial training mission, Miranda asks shepard a couple of questions regarding the big events on the previous game. That should get the story right for everyone without savegames.:happy:happy

@cnbd Film grain does look odd. I guess i forgot to turn it off when i was talking pics. I had turned it on just to check how it look.... :P

This game is EPIC...................

As far as spoilers tag is concerned, well i didnt posted any story breaking spoilers. Death of crew members depends upon how you play. So in your playthrough, someone else might die. There is also possibility of everyone surviving as i saw that there is a Achievement "Noone Left Behind" where everyone survives.

Moreover, does using spoiler tag worth anything?? I had posted spoilers using Spoiler tags on Indianvideogamer.com last night and just woke up to find out myself banned for a week:eek::facepalm .... I was like WTF. Why the hell they provided spoiler tags if they gonna ban anyway:mad:

So i wont take any risks here but i know the mods of PC are more mature then those at IVG

Absolutely fricking loving this game. One of those games that are worth every penny. No Mako and much better combat makes this so so much better than the original. I've stuck with Tali and Jack in almost every mission since I've had them both as they provide me with a great balance of powers, being a soldier class myself. I've almost gathered a full team before going after the IFF. I know there are people who have finished the game twice over, but I'm enjoying it too much to rush through it.

Even without rushing game can be finished. You just gotta pull a few allnighters

Yeah I finished it a couple of days after I posted that. I have a few days off so I plan on starting my second playthrough with my renegade Shepard from ME1. Can't wait.

Any suggestions on what type I should go for? I played as a soldier, thinking about going as Vanguard next.

Playing my renegade Shepard as a Vanguard (my second play through of course). He is so bad ass with all those scars. I'm halfway through and loving it. It does seem like its much tougher getting renegade points as opposed to paragon.
