I think what I have noticed with Bing is its easier it narrow down to what you are looking for, which might not always be knowledge based information but something for your day to day life.

As an example, I had to change the tyres on my car. I entered my car model year and tyres, and then went to local to get sites to tyre shops selling my cars tyres, and I could then narrow it furthur to show only Bridgestone tyre shops. Finally I got the directions to the nearest shop as well. Pretty cool and this probably took less than a minute.

Bing is the homepage for Bing and looks great, and it's the only time I use it lol.

Oh I wrote www[dot]live.com.au and it came up as the bing link so I guess thats pretty obvious that it is then.

This is the first time I've heard of it, and it beats Google with the video search! It is a refreshing look compared to Google - I especially like how they can pick videos from numerous sites. Also like the image search.

Just about a decade or so ago, Yahoo! was the king of search and Google was not even created yet. Now look where Yahoo! is. All it takes is complacency. Bing also has the search add-on for Firefox, so you could make it your default search if you wish to.

Thanks for the props! The instant answers for cricket scores is a sweet feature to test out using the Australian version of Bing, but unfortunately we have not rolled out all features there yet. All the features are available for the US version, but it's just a process for a large scale product like this to roll out to all regions of the world.

If you would like to see all features, you will need to change your settings in Bing to make it think you are in the US. If you go to Bing, from there you should be able to see your country displayed in the upper right. Click on it. You will be taken to a list of countries and from there you can click on the United States.

Once there, a cool feature is that you can track packages by typing in "UPS tracking" or "FedEx Tracking".

Sorry if I assumed you're from Australia, haha. It's just that it says that your location is in Auckland, but your screen name is Aussie1st and it says your national team is Australia. I have love for both

Wow, Bings video search is awesome!

Aaron, I know this is kinda very ordinary sounding but bings home page could do with much more simpler elemets and the search box a bit bigger. Would look much neater.

I have to say, I've been to Australia, but sadly enough, not NZ Thanks again for the kudos and feedback, but just to clarify, I imagine that post code is the same thing as a zip code here?
Definition of zip code: definition: zip code - Bing

We don't have a specific "zip code" function yet, but we do have an area code function. Again, just US for the moment.
Example: area code Redmond - Bing
You'll have to switch to the US version to see this

Yea they look the same. And what you guys have with the area code is pretty much what I was talking about. Obviously again no use to me in it's current state But I forget my area code at times and the google front page doesn't sort my confusion.
