Monitor into a tv

does anyone know how turn your monitor into a tv so you can play ps2 on it

I guess if your monitor had a DVI connector you could just get a cable with a DVI connector at one end and RCA connectors (Composite Video) at the other. You'd probably only be able to get a lead with RCA plugs and you really want sockets so you'll need some adapters too.

Not tried doing anything like this though and have no idea if it would work.

I don't think that would really work Kev... The DVI (moniter cables) doesnt just send the video information, it seems to send stuff like resolution information etc.

The easiest way would be to buy something like a TV tuner card you could plug it into, then you could also watch TV and chat on MSN etc at the same time! Score.
