Hello all,
I gotta say i've been loving this game so far. Yes run outs are annoying but i can live with them. When i finished my 4th test of the ashes i thought hmm this is to easy for me atm (was on normal) so i restarted the ashes on Hard. On Normal i was averagin 250-350 with the bat, batting as i would in real life. I respect good balls and either leave them or defend them. Bowls bowled short and wide or on my legs i dispatch for runs. I can go 3-4 overs without scoring and then put 40+ runs up in the same amount of time. It brings a nice balance to batting i feel.
Bowling I bowl the line suggested with a mixture of striaght, off , leg cutters with some slow balls. I also bring the keep the length the same but bring the circle in towards leg so it would hit the stumps sometimes.
Fielding I use Defence pace 2 to cut out all singles if possible as i like to wear down the same batsmen not chop and change every ball.
Now my first match on hard. I was bowled out for a reasonable 178. Timings i felt where enough to get me out playing some of the shots i would of on normal. So i thought to myself could be in a lot of trouble if the bowling has become really hard and if they put on a total of around 300+ i may be screwed.
Anyway heres what happened when i bowled the 10 wickets.
R.Symons (82 rating fast bowler) is a tribute to my dad who loves cricket and in 2001 was told he had MS so his cricket slowly became just a viewers sport.

The complete destruction of the aussies was plain to see. This seems to happen alot on hard as the following tests i had them out for an average of 60-80 runs. This happen to anyone else??
