Morning Boys from down Under

Look just got this game for Christmas 2004 and am having a lot of fun and frustration with it.

I have a question about importing pitch mats and stumps and face packs that are in bmp format.

Ste advised that you have to create a zip using winzip and then use the graphics importer (which i have used successfully before many times). Except i still cannot get this to work.

Can any of you chaps help out with a mini tutorial....or sock puppets or charades or anything that can help me?

Thanks lads

Bring on the POM's in 2005 should be a great series

If the files are bmp use the 'import as bmp' option in GI. Only import them as zip if they have been made in zip format by the patchmaker (used for importing multiple bmps).

Not necessarily. It depends on what the zip format is. Some are bmp files zipped using winzip (so unzip them and import as bmp - usually for single files). Others are GI format zips (import as zip in GI - usually for multiple files).

thanks boys for your help. I ended reinstalling and used gi 2.2.1 and all works well!

I am having a similar probelm to wallace.

everytime I try to import zip using either GI 2.2 or GI 2.2.1 - i get the message unknown zip format. So then i try to unzip using winzip and import the bitmap and then i get a message saying Error - unable to C:<insert file path here>
any other suggestions please. Thanks.

well for some reason the zip file still say unknown zip format on the import zip screen, but i have managed to get the import bitmap section to work.

thanks.
