Okay, I have read the Noob guide by Galstaf.

I just have a few questions;

1.) Where can I find ball-by-ball commentary of my past matches? In the FAQ it just says "Click the Scorecard".

2.) How do I train my players to have more Stamina? I have read over and over again that Stamina is so important.

3.) By training do they simply mean "Nets"? And how often should I train any particular player?

If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated!

Read through the entire general questions thread it will help, ive asked every question possible in there to learn about the game

1.) Where can I find ball-by-ball commentary of my past matches? In the FAQ it just says "Click the Scorecard".

You cant get it unless you have paid for Battrick

2.) How do I train my players to have more Stamina? I have read over and over again that Stamina is so important.

Give them a fitness net

3.) By training do they simply mean "Nets"? And how often should I train any particular player?

Yes, your training will depend on what your trying to achieve

OK, Cheers.

Fitness Tests?

So to see the commentary I have to be on the game during the match?

Where do I go to give my player(s) a fitness Test?

you dont give fitness tests, you give them a fitness net

the results will come through on a monday

Go to the club info page, hire a fitness coach then go to the nets page and assign the player you want to go up in stamina to the fitness net. Click submit and each Monday these will process, they won't always go up though, it takes a while to train players

Go to fixtures. When you see that a match is in progress, click on it. You will then be taken to live ball-by-ball commentary of your match. When the match is over, you are taken to the scorecard. To see the commentary after the match is over, you'll need membership.

3.) By training do they simply mean "Nets"? And how often should I train any particular player?
Basically, to see the desired effects of your training nets, you'll need to keep a player in his training regimen for many weeks, or in the case of a talented youth, seasons.

After a lot of reading and a bit of experimentation, you'll get the idea.

You probably played a team that is more advanced than you. If you take a look at the ratings I am sure he beats you in every section of the game.

noobs always get owned hard.

a completely new team has neither good nor bad team fitness and morale. the players you start with are untrained and so they often have unbalanced attributes; they will also take several weeks to get into form.

basically, this means even if you know what you're doing, you're at a disadvantage.

however, inexperience works harder against you. you will give players less than ideal match orders. you will over train and over work key players until they are useless, or at the very least realise at the last minute. you will buy useless players and you will train useless players. if your management skills are innately quite good, you will not find yourself depleting your team of money or fitness, but you will still need to experiment or make mistakes.

what is most important to leaving noobdom is that you find ways of answering questions. some game elements have no official answer, in fact most of them, so it is important to utilise the community.

you can learn to assess your opponent, to the point at which you can tell which of his players are more skilled than yours. when even a tricky opponent has been defeated by your planning and forethought, you have reached the acme of skill.

That is a pretty good reply. Most people train the wrong players when they start. I trained a 25 year old guy with repectable keeping and like abysmal everything else for about half a season until I realised that I had a pretty good 17 year old trainee that I wasn't even using in games. Now the keeper (The 17 year old one) is one of my best players in my team.

Every player goes through the learning curve. Some learn harder then others.
