Noob

I trained 10 players with 10 nets (a net each) when I started with the TT Lions. I soon learnt to train with multiple nets. Thats when I focused on the legend that turned out the be Ryan Crouch :)

Yeah, although at the same time, I reckon early on is the best time to train the oldies. It'll probably take you a while before you can afford a decent trainee worth giving 3 or 4 nets to, so you can compensate by polishing your squad.

One of the first things I did, I took a feeble/respectable/feeble who was a part of my squad and improved his concentration to respectable. I later improved his stamina. It doesn't take that long on the older ones and in most cases a player like that will be with you for several seasons, probably averaging over 50.

I later did a similar thing to a respectable bowler, but I gave him bat/bowl/field/keep mainly to see the effects. This produced an even better effect than what I was looking for, as he was high respectable and popped to proficient. Obviously, in practice it's not a leap in performance, but it is good to find your player is better than you thought, at a time when you probably don't understand wage calculation.

Considering the market as it is, even competent players in the initial squad are worth this sort of treatment.

Yeah training those older guys isn't a bad idea to better there secondaries. Secondaries are really underrated, I think they are really important.

I think im the prime example, I was the biggest ever noob. Would anyone agree lol?

Couldn't agree any more ;)

Also Griffo has an unfair advantage on asking questions because in theory Griffo has been in charge of his team longer.

How do you know? When did Griffo's start? Because I actually had mine for months!

Grifo would ask about everything and anything. Most of the question he asked were in the rules. Read the rules it helps

Lol but after getting told to read the rules 10 times I did, then I did further research and now i have a decent side which would of made the top 4 in the shield

The first thing I did on BT: Sign up, then go straight to the rules. I got my team a day after I had read the rules. Then I browsed everything, with the rules opened in another window. Then I expanded my ground (A little), set my nets (Not very well) and a playing XI, the joined sledging. It took me 10 weeks to realise how to set my nets properly, and it was a fair bit before I started buying players.
