Just noticing that a couple of people have got more than three players from one nation in their teams: not trying to be facetious but I thought that was one of the rules?

Ernie Toshack's the one who got me over three Aussies, so swapped him for a like-for-like bowler, Dick Barlow of England

Hi,
I’m very sorry for this, but due to the amount of stuff I have on I am having to postpone the draft until Tuesday at 4:00 GMT.

Sorry about the inconvenience

Alright so I am going to add a bit of Afghan flavour to this draft. Mohammad Nabi is going to be the all-rounder for dad's army. He has been one of the centrepiece in Afghanistan's rise to the international cricket. He has played a crucial part in it since the start of their journey from ICC World Cricket League Division 5. He has been their captain, batted them out of trouble on various occasions and can bowl very smartly. Even though he is limited in terms of his bowling ability, the way he reads the batsmen allows him to be successful even against the best. He is also likely to be one of the calmest head on the cricket field which is a plus for any team. Apart form playing international cricket, he has played domestic cricket in Pakistan, Bangladesh and England. He has also played in T20 leagues around the world which includes Big bash and IPL. He is someone who brings a lot of experiance and fits perfectly in my all-rounder spot.

Dad's Army

5. :aus: George Bailey :bat:

8. :aus: Ryan Harris :bwl:
9. :wi: George Francis :bwl:
10. :pak: Mohammad Irfan :bwl:
11. :ind: Dilip Doshi :bwl:

@CerealKiller I am a bit confused regarding who is next in the draft. I hope I have tagged the right person.

I will go with Jimmy Cook who will be batting at number 3 for Dad's army. Like a true member of Dad's army, he made his international debut for South Africa at the age of 39. Originally he was a middle order batsman for his domestic team Transvaal but his career took off when he started to open the innings. He made sure he broke almost every record while he opened the inning for his domestic team. Looking at his amazing run, he got an opportunity to play for Somerset. He played three seasons with Somerset and scored about 7500 runs with 28 hundreds. He was part of many rebel tours that South Africa played but he could only play 3 tests for South Africa. By the time South Africa got their test status back, he was in twilight of his career and therefore had to retire only after playing 3 test matches.

I feel like I've not had a pick for a long time here. I'm also sad that Toshack is gone

We are a multicultural and accommodating side and look to extend our
boundaries of friendship to all parts of the world: thus we welcome our great friend Asghar Afghan into the side, a batsman who has the talent to dig in at the crease but has a nice punchy approach to the game. Afghanistan are slowly finding their feet in the test arena and we very much welcome the fact that Asghar has taken time out of his busy international schedule to join us at number four.
