Paul Collingwood caught in lap dancing bar

Nah, for an early start they would, but for evening games they'd probably only get up at around 10/11 am.

Obviously, no one would know full stop, but id still say 7am, or atleast id expect it :p

Either way, thats a differnt topic, still, stupid from Collingwood, but as i said, would Ponting get this amount of negetive looks?

There is no way you can back him as he has already accepted his mistake. It's Plain Wrong that way.

Usy, hes our captain, hes our countries captain.

Now us English people may not be overly patriotic, but can we not back out country captain?

He's accepted his mistake because that's the media friendly way to deal with things and make sure everything is hunky dory. I don't think he made a mistake at all. When you look at how Akhtar and Asif went unpunished for taking drugs (i'm sorry to bring that up again) yet Collingwood gets fined for having a social life outside of cricket then it really makes you wonder about justice.

Probably not because the Aussie media aren't twats like their English counterparts.

Well if someone is wrong no matter if he is Countries President, he is wrong, I did'nt say anything to no English fan man.

Everybody is "patriotic" about their countries does'nt mean we ignore mistakes like this, yes we forgive them.

OMG !! and i thought only the indian media blew things out of proportion !!!

the guy had JUST ONE drink ! whats the big deal in that ??
theres too much cricket going on....england were thrashed by the aussies...
the lad must be under severe pressure and tension...wants to chill off a bit..
i dont see any fault in that....

its a another issue if he did something like flintoff :p

I think Not Playing World Cup was their biggest Punishment.

But they apprently had 'injuries'.
Thats not punishment.

Nothing wrong with what Collingwood did, he wasn't in the ocan in the early hours, he was in what was effectively a bar having 1 beer.

We have pesimistic writers who consider one drink as a sign of the apocalypse.(Put that spelling in a paper)

I'm off to read the daily mail, apprently we're all going to die again.

Did they get fined? No. Did they get banned? No.

Therefore = No punishment.

All I can say is it's a game of Cricket, and life is not fair, there have been other unfair things to some Pakistani players in Past.

What's all the fuss about he went in an bar for a drink then realised he shouldn't have been there so he left.Storm in a teacup IMO.
