Story PlanetCricket and the 2011 WC ; Brendon Hedger is our captain

Just when I saw Mark's story, I got a nice idea :idea. Thought of implementing it, and with the support of you guys, I am sure that it will turn out to be successful.
The story will mainly be of Team PlanetCricket's journey in the 2011 WC. Team PlanetCricket will be replacing Canada in the 2011 WC and will feature in all the matches were Canada had to.

A 16 man squad will be chosen to visit the sub-continent for the event. If we have more than 16 sign ups (hopefully), then the selection of the 16 members will depend on these factors:

• Activeness in the thread with meaningful posts before the announcement of squads.
• The best possible team combination.

We could also have some practice matches to decide on the squad, with the help of the elected captain and the vice captain.

The matches will be simulated on Ashes Cricket 2009 and the WC will begin as soon as the sign ups are done and the squads are announced. The playing XIs for the international teams will be decided on the best possible XI for the country on that very day (as the matches will be simulated very early than the actual WC takes place and we might see some huge changes in their squads by that time).

The player skills will vary as of their activeness in this thread as the tournament progresses.
