I know its going to be a great fight! Last time if I remember, Australia scored 278 all out against Pakistan which I think was their highest score! Well, 281 is higher than that but still I think Indian bowling might be better than Pakistan!

Australia scored 289 against Hampshire batting first but its bowlers were not able to stop Hamps from winning.

Are you playing with Tutsi v2.1 (batting patch)? Wow.. You seem to be scoring very high!
Yes i am using Tutsi v2.1 batting patch but as u can see only the Left hander scored all the runs and all the right handers had trouble.....may be its because the left arm bowler(mullally) was bowling out side the off stump almost every ball so i was always hitting him for four through the covers

Cmon india

GOOD Knock from tendulkar :hpraise . Dravid deserved a 50. Dhoni did too.
I am really interested in your story sai good work ;) :p !

India vs Australia

So the Australian openers and Indian players are coming to the ground with umpiresfor the second half of this very crucial match. India made 281 runs in the first inning due to a great century from Little Master Sachin Tendulkar and some fiery batting from Dhoni in the end. Australian have to win this match to keep their hopes alive in the tournament and for this they have to show some good class batting. Gillchrist has been in superb form in the tournament but other top Aussie batsmen have struggled for most part. Now one of their top guys have to perform to chase this huge target.

Australia 21/0 after 3 overs

Irfan Pathan is going to bowl the first over of Australian inning and he will bowl to Matthew Hayden. Not a very good start by Pathan as he was wayward in the first over and bowled two wides. Hayden also scoring his first boundary in three matches. So a great relief for him. Australia 9 for no loss after 1st over.

The next over will be bowled by Zaheer Khan. Ohhhhhhhh! first ball and a dolly to India's best fielder Yuvraj Singh and he messed up with a simple catch. Gillchrist survives off the first ball as all Indian fielders looked disappointed and frustrutated. Gillchrist who was in superb form in the tournament will be thanking his stars now. A superb over from Zaheer Khan ended with a beautiful cover drive from Gillchrist for 4 runs. That was a very good pressure over from Zaheer. After the end of 3 overs Australia is now 21 for no loss.

I have lot of hopes on an Indian win here! A win here for India would place them as overwhelming favorites to win the tournament as they would have beaten the world champions and would have extended their unbeaten run! I hope India wins! Come on, India!!

India, India!
Yuvraj singh?? Missing a catch?? Thats stupid!! :mad
And he's not our best fielder, kaif is :p

India vs Australia

Australia 60/1 after 10 overs

After some intial problems Hayden quickly got his eyes set and then started to hit Indian opening bowlers on both side of wicket particularly Pathan. Pathan has completely looked lackluster with his wayward bowling despite of some help from pitch. Hayden quickly overtakes Gillchrist and reaches in 30s while Gillchrist still on 16. Indian sloppy fielding continued in outfield as they gave Hayden couple of gifted 4 runs. Australia reached their 50 without loosing any wicket in 8th over. Till the last report Australia has reached to 58 in 9 overs without loosing any wicket as they looked set for clinching the set target with ease.

In the tenth over Ganguly made a strange decision of bringing in Murali Kartik for Zaheer who was creating some sort of trouble for Gillchrist. And the decision proved perfect for India as Gillchrist mistimed a cover drive off the first ball and offered a simple catch to Indian vice-captain Rahul Dravid for 16. Gillchrist looked completely out of touch today. Gillchrist is replaced by Australian Captain Ricky Ponting who has struggled with the bat recently. India now looks to come back in the match and create some pressure on Aussies. At the end of ten overs Australia is 60 for the loss of one wicket with Hayden looking good on 35 with the help of five boundaries.

i reckon australia are fav right now, nice story ashu.

I dont think so! 60/1 off 10 overs isnt too big a score by Australia! I think India if they can pick up 3-4 wickets within 30 overs can still win this game!
