But you have to realize that we do spend time on what we post in that sub-forum.

If the mods feel this thread is going nowhere then they can close it.

Post count means nothing...reps mean nothing...life means nothing, ok maybe that was a bit far, but the first two are true.

BTW, why does post count matter anyway? If you do a good job making sigs and avvies, people will appreciate you regardless of your post count.
Hitting the nail on the head there. Anybody who matters looks at quality not quantity.

Yup, whilst it would be nice for the actual graphics makers to get post count for the forum it would encourage too many spammy responses imo. This way people are only going to post if they want something made or to say thank you.
As for disabling post count in the H&J forum that would stop me reaching 10,000 for another few weeks so I'm going to be against it :D (not that post counts mean anything anyway :p)

I was just going to say, is Colin an exception to the "quality not quantity" rule? :p

I'm not saying that having more posts is great but we are contributing to the forum.

It was just a suggestion. I am not demanding that it happens. That is why I posted it in the Feedback/Suggestions Forum.

Come guys it is not the post count that matters, it is what you put in the posts.

well, making the humour and jokes forum not count posts will bring heavy losses to people like farrukh duff :D:D:D . and maybe Zorax :P

but i agree dont go after the posts , just keep producing quality posts :happy

Probably lower than 500. :p
and I might as well go into sub 100.

and as for graphics thread, it's post count could have been counted.however,
"Can you make me a ...." and "here you go...." logic is very valid.

and those "lols" and "wonderful" in H&J really encourages people like me to find more of the same.

I was on another forum and I was posting on a thread that was designed to be a game and the moderateors on that decided to delete every message I posted!! All 30 of them :(

Least the moderates here are more controlled!

Again what a great set of lads!

Apparently NZWarriors.com had a bunch of mean moderators (meaner than Colin, even), who'd edit members posts in signup competitions so that they themselves could get the team they wanted.

But PC is incredibly controlled in choosing sensible mods (apart from that Matthew Dufty of course) who usually make the right decision, take the flak when some idiot doesn't get his way and on the hand, are able to have a good laugh too (yes, even Andrew...
http://www.planetcricket.org/forums/showthread.php?p=349529#post349529 :D )

Seriously guys, you do a great job here, all of you.

But we're drifting a little off-topic here...

I think the current systems good enough, post count is only a minor way of telling how long someone has been at the forum. Its also nice to celebrate when you reach a milestone, and if post count was removed there would be an uproar, but it isn't the end of the world.

Where did you hear that from? I was a mod at NZWarriors.com...
