New Pic guys.
Me and my Dassault Mirage 2000-H. Do you guys see the serial KF-137 on the tail? That is unique to me. Until I am assigned to some other aircraft, the flight KF-137 will be flown by Lt. Nachinarkiniyan only.
The tiger below the cockpit is indicates our squadron. No.1 Tigers.
This pic was taken on Jan 26, 2004. My first day as a Lieutenant in the IAF. I was put on stand-by for the entire day. -_-
The place where the aircraft is parked is called the 'Combat Readiness Platform'. The aircraft is ready to T/O. Do you guys see the small missile like thing near the end of the right wing? The one with a red ribbon. That is the
Super 530D BVRAAM. The big one to its right is the laser-guided bomb, Beluga CBU.
The other one at the centre, the one behind my right arm is the Drop-tank. Contains extra fuel.
On the port side were a Super 530D BVRAAM on the outer, an ALTIS II LDB on the center, and the Remora ECM (Electronic Counter Measures) pod on the outer.
