Problem with EA GAMES - Cricket 2004...

When ever i turn cricket 2004, fifa 2004 or need for speed underground..a black screen comes and den it jus goes bak to mydesktop! wot could b my problem?
I meet all the minimum requirement for the game aswell!!
i tried updatin my chipset n it still the same!


i also play Counter-strike..it works FINE!!

PLEASE HELP ASAP

What graphics card do you use? Do you have the latest drivers for it?

yeh i have the latest drivers i downloaded it from intel website..

i got INTEL(r) 82815 Graphics Controller

Could any of the solutions on http://support.intel.com/support/graphics/gaming/troubleshooting.htm like reducing the resolution of the desktop fix the problem?

nope that didnt help either :s..now what i paid ?30 for each gameeeee!! 3 games!

have you tried calling EA's support line? is it only these 3 games, all made by EA?

Do you ever get any error message displayed? What CD Drive do you have, it could be something to do with your CD drive not liking the copy protection on EA games.

yeh its only these 3 games!..i have counter-strrke that runs fine..

NO error message.. i have a 32X dvd Cd-rewrtier

On cricket 2004..it goes to Loading bit..goes bout say 2/4% den goes to the desktop..

yeh, even reformated my hard-drive 3 times! same result

is that one of the integrated chipsets. i have heard there are problems with the intel chipsets

Yeah, its integrated- and Counter Strike works fine cause it's an old game designed for crappy graphics cards.

Do a registry clean. Should fix the problem.

There is still a driver conflict in your registry.

That video card is the problem. I too had the problem.

Then, I upgraded to the INTEL 82845 Graphics Card and now theres no problem

first of all, does your motherboard have an AGP slot?
