PS3; How do you set a custom field for on-line?

I've seen some bizzare custome fields but they were effective! Grrrrr!

How do you set these for on-line use. The edit tab is greyed out.

The edit tab is grayed out because you are trying to edit settings from one of the preset fields. Go to custom fields by toggling to the change field option (custom 1, for example) and then move your fielders around to the desired position.

I would suggest that you try this offline a few times and then try setting custom fields online because the time that you have to set custom fields when playing online is very limited.

There are 4 types of fields - 'Attacing', 'Balanced', 'Defensive' and 'Custom' and you can only edit Custom fields as mentioned by Funkmate. All the other types of fields other than Custom category are not editable and greyed out. By the way what's ur PSN id?

This is the bug which i often encounter while setting custom fields online.
It only normalizes after that over is being bowled.
