Does anyone else face lack of run outs while the AI is batting? I am playing on Veteran but the AI does not take risky singles or doubles. They bat well and honestly I get a good mix of other types of dismissals(which was an issue I faced in DBC 17), but no run-outs, except my first match ever. This is on PS4 btw, and only run-out I had was in the previous patch version.
It seems to me both conservative running and loopy throws are contributing to this. Are there any specific settings I can tweak to mitigate this?

I could not find any post about this, but please let me know if this was already answered. It's a small nitpick on an otherwise fantastic game. I was almost put off from buying this after DBC17, glad I took the leap of faith.

I had a few, all cos of AI striker not responding at all. No genuine ones though.

I've never had a genuine one but I haven't played any one dayers yet, just tests where the AI are super conservative.

Is there a difference between online and offline... ?

Haven't played online at all! This is the first BA game I bought for PS4 after two PC versions, and I am too cheap to spring for PS Plus.

I've had a lot, including two in one test innings. Granted you do get some that are outright stupid - batsman stood outside the crease and fielder whips the bails off. But there are ones that intentionally, or not, just wind up looking like real life calamitous running. There's nothing really in terms of batsman narrowly missing the crease on a quick single or sluggishly coming back for a second but I expect it is difficult to get this balanced without all of a sudden there being six run outs per innings.

I use fully assisted fielding.

I got one and it's the first ever AI run out I ever got in cricket gaming. I even recorded it. So good

Given that there are two humans involved in online and no AI, isn't that obvious? I think OP is talking about run-outs by AI.

No the problem is we as humans cant run the AI out --- there are no genuine run out opportunities to run the AI out while they are batting :(

Yes, that's what I meant too. You worded it better than me though :)

AI taking no risk , easy single not to be taken , where there can be 2s AI takes single .

In One days and T20, when require run rate is high then AI should take 1,2 even 3 runs and take risky runs .
Require quick runs from AI same as in real . Then the game will be more challenging .

And then I get an AI batsman (Steve Smith) run-out. Unbelievable.
Edit: No bugs.A genuine one.

Then wouldn't that be 'not' obvious... ! Doh! If you 'think' it... If the process is there for the AI then it's there for humans or not, just adding my incentive.
