Script Problem bugging me! PlanetCricket

Hello once again.

Aiight, I'm not a computer master guy. ok

"A script on this page is causing Internet Explorer to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script?"

I get this only, and only when I am on my http://www.planetcricket.org/forums forum Index Page of PlanetCricket, else where my IE7 is running all fine. Also I have Vista.

When I click Yes, everything is fine, but when i come to forum home again, same thing happens and IE7 freezes for a few seconds, as that popup comes.

I don't have vista and am having the problem. I am also using IE.

My guess is its one of the adverts, probably coming from imrworldwide,sitemeter or googlesyndication.

Of course, because I am smart and don't use IE and instead run Firefox with no-script and adblock plus I can sit here running vista and feel smug at the same time

I just tried on IE7, on XP and I don't get the problem. Can someone experiencing the problem check that drop down menus work in the other parts of the site? That is my guess of what the problem is, but it is just that, a guess.

well I never liked Firefox ever, i've been using IE for 6 years, never had a problem before.

Also this popup thing happens when the bottom page loads, does that mean a popup blocker will help this?

Also Microsoft website talk bull crap about this problem, rather then helping you.

Maybe this is a stupid question, but what is there not to like about firefox? It's a web browser, websites look the same on it as they do in IE don't they? It has a back button, it has a refresh button, it has tabs. It doesn't have 12356786949046786949 security flaws like IE has. What more do you want? What does Firefox not offer you that IE does? Because I'm pretty sure there will be an addon to firefox to do what you want it to do.

ok I just found a thing called "IE pro".. let me try that, i'll tell if that helps.

im useing XP and ie7 and the forums page just refuses to load, all other pages fine just that one, just had to google the Feedback/Suggestions forum URL so i could start a thread about it and saw this lol
