shadows

hey guys i have a qestion

u know the shadows option at the config screen....
wll i have it turned on ....
but the poroblem is that when i am playing the screen there are no player shadows.....only the ball and the bat shadows are visible

do any of u know what the problem is

my specs are p4 2.4 ghz......512 mb ram.....on board graphics card

and one mor thing.....have any of u noticed any wear and tear on the pitches in a test match.....coz i certainly havent......even on the 5th day of the test match.....

would really appreciate a reply

Actually I can see shadows of the player when the shadows are enabled. Have you tried turning off the shadows and then turning them on. Autosaving the options and then playing the game !!! may be then you'll see the shadows. I have got a Geforce4 MX and so I may not be able to tell you if it is some limitation of the Onboard graphics.

Also the pitch sometimes wears out in test matches. Although this is not drastic in gameplay consideration. But the looks certainly do change for me.

I have the same problem. No player shadows, only bat and ball shadows.

I have 64meg onboard video too, so that sounds like the problem. Certainly enough video ram, problem just one of those integrated card quirks.

On NRL Rugby League the day time player shadow are a weird untextured green, so it must be the card.

yeah i think that must be it......
must be the onboard card.......ill try turning the shadows off and then back on.........which graphics gard would u guys recomend.......
