This will save his career but the reason he was under pressure in the first place was not because he couldn't make 50s, he was doing that just fine in his previous 28 innings. It was scoring a 100, it is the same reason why Hayden was under pressure in 05 and the same reason was he was dropped after the SA series in Aus. If you start accepting sub par standards then your team will also fall.

Well I still think we should drop him, he is the obvious man to go out and we can't go back to Australia with the same batting lineup after their dismal performance in England, that's for sure.
