Your Cricket Slower balls

Oh yes, aim at about off stump and really full. The fuller the better.

Slowerball yorkers own. Irfan Pathan from '06 specialty :)

you might want to try two things, try holding the ball like a regular grip but split your fingers more almost halfway down the ball its harder to control but it works and sometimes the ball dips as it get close to the batsman.

or you can try pushing the ball into you palm as much as you can, don't really know the proper way to hold that but as you push the ball into your palm the ball will come out slower when you bowl it than holding it with you 2 fingers when bowling a regular delivery.

Thanks:) I will try this at my practice once the March Break gets over:)

I reckon you should just hold the ball further back in your hand, almost fully full in conact with your palm.:)

Dont bowl usual way. You'll end up bowling half tracker. As i said earlier try to hit batsmen on full.
I've often figured that a long hop is probably a better delivery in indoors than a full ball. What are they going to do, smash it over square leg? Yeah, they get one run and you might get a catch off the net.

That said, I figure any sort of good slower ball is better than a wicked outswinger. There's no slips cordon and so anything wide of off is innocuous, but a mistimed shot will lift to a fielder. Concordantly, the inswinger should be the killer. When you have no pads, keeping the ball out with an inside edge is a lot tougher.

I haven't played indoor cricket in a while, but does this sound right?

Indoor cricket here is different though.

Its played in a Gym which has a surface like Basketball courts. The Gym is quite big though. Then there is a line on the walls. If the ball is hit higher than the line, than the batsman is out.

I'm not very sure abt this, coz I'm a bit of leggie and a bit of mediumpacer (Mainly batsman). But i also found bowling slower balls difficult and more than often it used to become a 'wide'. My coach siggested that the problem is with grip. If one cant controll it by bowling slower 'legbreak' then he should change his grip to bow a slower 'offbreak' delivery. It paid off form me. I guess u can try this too.
