Could be an exciting series for both sides. Although with Mathews ruled out of the first test, I would say Pakistan go into it as favourites.

I wonder who will come in as replacements for Misbah and Younis, hopefully, as the poll above suggests it should be Fawad Alam.

I heard that Ahmed Shahzed, Hafeez and yasir shah might not be part of team. Shehzad needed confidence at this stage, provided he has some soild test record. I wonder if he won't be there. Yasir Shah should not be dropped solely on the basis of fitness. In-addition, where is Junaid Khan? Why getting victimized? He was a prime bowler, performed so good in ODI and deserves a chance in Test Squad at the moment.

This might still be a good opportunity to test out some talented players out there. Good series for Pakistan to find out perfect batsmen for the middle order now that Misbah and Younus are gone.
