Yeah Priobi story is bloody nuts, turns the game on it's head and it is sweet :D
 
Urm, pretty good. Priboi I've had not a single CTD and it all seems to run fine, it's a very well made mod, imo, and has obviously been thoroughly tested, though it can be a bit annoying when your vehicle explodes and sends you about 100 feet in the air lol. The Supermod I have found is a bit more unreliable, but I don't think I installed it correctly as I suck at this sort of stuff, so it might just be me. Best just check the forums of that site I showed you, they're all a really friendly, mature bunch of people.

Apparently Call of Pripyat is being released soon for Russia and Ukraine and then at the end of 2009 for Germany, Austria and Switzerland???? Then the rest of the world is beginning of 2010. No idea why German speaking countries are getting a seperate release? :( Considering there was a European and American version last time I don't know why they are changing it. Means we have to wait ages compared to Russia/Ukraine :(
 
That's bad in one way, but good in another: by the time we get it, it'll be nicely patched up with various mods flying around. :)

Ah, but even SoC unpatched, was awesome ;) I'll end up just sitting on youtube watching the Russian version for a few months lol
 
Well it's been released in Russia/Ukraine and first impressions are that it is like the atmosphere of SoC which is a massive plus and with the good bits of CS. Apparently there are some complaints about graphics but x10 or x11 or whatever the hell they are talking about could be cheese names for all I know about that sort of stuff. Seems like GSC have really made this a winner of a game. Just bloody well release it in English!!!!

It'll be DX10 compatible, won't it? I mean, will it take advantage of DX10's power. :)
 
Oh I think it is compatabile, I think they were just saying that on some systems if it isn't the right technical thingy you can't max out graphics
 
Well the game seems to have high appreciation from the russian/ukranian gamers.. alos the game seems to be more forgiving on older systems.
The Q1 release will make it compete with games like Bioshock 2 and Mass Effect 2.. that mens I'll have my hands full playing the sequles of my 3 favourite games all at the same time, lol.
