Start/Taskbar

I've had this problem for a fair while now. I was using a lot of themes last year (with some obviously dodgy programmes) and it stopped my using any other taskbar than the classic one. This means why i use the royale or XP theme it is normal but with a classic startbar.

Anyone know what I could do?

I had the same problem last years, maybe try downloading a new uxtheme.dll and try that. If that doesn't work try and get someone that has the original uxtheme.dll and use that. It should fix your problem.

or, probably you can install styleXP, which is another theme suite, and then select the windows theme from the program...
it will reset your taskbar...
