Delhi Daredevils have been made favourites for their depth with the bookies starting them as favourites at $6.80. NSW with their International star power have made second favourites at $7 and Deccan Chargers third favourite at $7.40. Victoria have been over looked by the bookies being 5th favourites behind Bangalore.

Too bad Pakistan weren't allowed in here, 20 wins in a row by Sialkot Stallions is impressive.

$25 for Otago, they are some tempting odds.

I just put $30 on Otago to win this thing, I can't believe they're paying that much tbh.

New Zealand's only representatives are widely considered to be a team with little chance to hit the US$2.5m jackpot on offer, but their string of power-hitters (Otgao made 189 or more in five of their seven Twenty20 games last season) could spring a surprise or two. How Twenty20 experts, Brendon McCullum and Dimitri Mascarenhas, fare will have a huge bearing on Otago's progress. Other batsmen likely to make an impact are Aaron Redmond (who though uninspiring at the Test level, has proved competent in Twenty20s, topping the run charts in the domestic tournament) and 20-year-old Hamish Rutherford (who bludgeoned a 38-ball 87 against Wellington). The bowling looks a bit thin, despite the presence of a rejuvenated Ian Butler and the crafty Nathan McCullum

Looking forward to seeing how Rutherford goes in this tournament, he's certainly a big guy capable of scoring some very quick runs.
