Ok marc listen up
1) Using my comm files and using my comm files in a patch are entirely different things.When someone makes a patch,he implies that all the files comprising the patch have been made by him.So if someone makes a new patch,he shouldnt use other ppl's files if they are already available on the net.(Thats what i think anyway).Because the users will have already downloaded those files and will not want to redownload them.However,if the guy who makes the patch includes others' files, he should give them proper credit;he should write somewhere that those files were created by someone else and not him.PJ Martin didnt do that when he used my files in his patch, so i got angry.
When someone is making a patch,what is the use of him including older files created by someone else?It is simply USELESS.
2) If a person uses my files in the game,it is perfectly alright,that is why i am creating these files in the first place.
To summarise,i am VERY happy that ppl are using my files,but there is no point in other ppl making patches with the same files.Everyone already has these files and it is a waste of time both for the user and the patch developer.However, if he is including new files created by others which are not available for download yet,it is perfectly ok for him to do so, but he HAS to give due credit to the guy who created them.And this was what I was saying in the first place.I am sorry for flying of the handle.I hope we are cool.(Phew, i hope all this typing has not gone to waste)

Right - so in fact all along you never minded people using your files just objected to not having the credit. I understand that. The one thing I don't understand is you saying people shouldn't use your files in a patch as they aren't new files. Surely patch (or even update)makers will want to use the best commentary available, otherwise, your logic would in effect have people not using any of the games commentary!

I think it is fine to use other peoples files in your updates but you should allways mention them in the readme file and if possible contact them about it as well.

EXACTLY Ste ! Thats what I have been saying all this while.I got angry coz this guy PJ Martin didnt mention that the files were made by me.I think I was entitled to be.So marc this is what Ste thinks too.And this is what I've been yacking about for so long.Anyway I hope we are cool.
