Damn annoying what happened with the GB Men's relay team! That last runner went off far too early and didn't hand the baton over in time, so the team was DQ. Women got through though, so that's something.

Each relay was a shambles! The American's were by far the worst offenders though with both the men's and the women's teams dropping the baton! :cheesy

I really feel sorry for Pickering. He feels he has let his whole country down and more importantly his team mates. He was devastated in the interview and said he would take full blame. Like Marlon Devonish said it's a team game, but I suppose he will always think it's all because of him that we didn't make the final. Feel sorry for the lad!

More golds for the British, it's a gold rush for them. Thought they might have stopped after the cycling but now got some in K1 and more in sailing.

It's just been disappointment after disappointment for the Aussies with our gold medal favorite men's hockey team not in the final.

Ouch Jamaica golden games took a hit with the women relay. But their men made up for it, what a deadly finish they have in Bolt and Powell. Congrats to Jamaica, easily taking the sprint crown of this Olympics.

the only reason they interfered with the British team is because they messed their own up, its not like they did it on purpose.
If Jamaica finished theirs but Britain didn't I'm sure that Jamaica would have been disqualified or something like that.

Taekwondo is a very flawed sport. I watched the young man lose yesterday and he was robbed, now this British woman has been robbed too - she booted her in the head and even after they had a discussion they refused it! The first example I have seen of bias towards the Chinese athletes.
