The movie which u saw recently

Bose: the forgotten hero

I haven't seen it yet, but I have to, it is the best movie taken in a while. I listened to the soundtrack on CD, the most inspiring songs i have heard in a while..

Best Songs

Azaadi (Independence) - Starts out really melodious with a chorus singing Jai Hind, but the A.R. Rahman comes in and cries out loud Azaadi!, you feel goose bumps rising on your skin, your blood starts to boil, that's how powerful it is.

Hum Dilli Dilli Jayange - Battle cry of the Indian National Army as they marched to recapture Delhi, what more can there be said, it shows their reverence of Subhash Chandra Bose, it is awesome, really inspiring..

Kadam Kadam - also a battle cry of the INA, your heart starts to beat faster along with the drum beats of the song..

If you get the opportunity to listen to these songs, do so.. go to www.raaga.com and listen.. the best songs I have heard in a while..

Anybody listened to Mumbai Xpress songs.Suits my taste.
Don't know whether a movie by a Tamilian will do well in Maharashtra.

I'm a great fan of Kamal Haasan.(See my sig)

Dunno why it won't do well. Hasan's previous movies have done well enough in the "Hindi Heartland" in the past, apart from flawed productions like "abhay".

Yes,movies like Appu Raja have done well.

Pal is listened to Azadi song.
Din't find it as inspiring as Ma Tuje Salam by A.R.R
May be I should hear it a cpuple of times more.

I recently saw this movie -- Samay with Sushmita Sen and Jackie Shroff on Zee Tv.
A movie based on the Hollywood movie ( but of course ) - Se7en

Now, Seven was a spectacular movie about the seven sins and Pitt, Freeman and Spacey were fantastic in that. Now that's movie making.

It dawned on me as I was watching Samay that the movie was based on Seven. I thought I'd be watching some Bollywood crap, but surprisingly, the movie was in fact well made. ( There are the usual plotholes, misc. loopholes ). It did keep engrossed. The deviation from Seven was apparent and in the end, the 2 movies are joined only by a general plot line. So this was a good take on Samay.

However, Bollywood guys need to understand that people aren't dumb and shouldn't explain everything. Let the audience figure it out.

Anyways....

Oh! and I'd watched this movie on Zee TV ' Ittefaq' with Rajesh Khanna and Iftekar and Nanda and that was a beauty. Old movie but well made. Was entertaining
