I would just like to say thankyou to Andre Nel for being so considerate as to bowl a full toss on the last ball so Pieterson could get his century. Thankyou Mr. Nel :clap

Sometimes in the last few overs of an ODI match you're trying to bowl low full tosses because they are hard to get away. The force of the ball is directed downwards and really its harder to get on the meat of the bat. Also if you are backing away and not stable, its harder to connect.

r they really?! i personally find them quite easy to despatch away!
do you bat in slog overs? I find waist-neck high fulltosses easy to put away but then again I play with a tennis ball and against no-so-fast pacers......

i sumtimes open 4 my club but usually i bat @ 5/6 and in the slog overs!
I bat mostly as last man in in 5 or 3 player teams......haven't played much recently but am practicing opening an innings, makes no difference when you play with a tennis ball......
