:laugh That's the safest option for the captain, followed by Warne.

Warne didn't help last time I had him as captain Collinwood and KP will have to be on the list of captains to have.

Yeah, I've fixed the date already. And Ponting is a bit more consistent then Pietersen and Collingwood. If I will choose a captain it will probably someone from the winning side (and yeah I am expecting Australia to win this match and so the Ashes ). Ponting and Warne are the biggest options, with Hussey, in his current form, has hit enough runs either.

If you want to make a big gamble, have Giles as captain.

KP's actually quite consistent against the Aussies, he plays Warne as well as anyone although will be interesting seeing how he goes in the 2nd inns against him. Ponting definitely the best choice so far.

Symonds will play. Somebody will select him? I actually wouldn't know where to fit him in my team.
