wasim akram

imran khan
dannis liley
waqar younis

For me:
Wasim Akram
Kapil Dev
Imran Khan
waqar younis
Anil Kumble

WI pace trio -- i put them as one because they all were similar, aggressive by nature. You really can't divide them.
W.Akram
R.Hadlee
J.Thompson/D.Lillee
Indian spin quatret (only when combined)

Now, murali, warne, kumble, McGrath etc are top bowlers but hard to include everyone in the list. My above list is when the bowlers played the best batting teams.

Malcolm Marshall
Andy Roberts
Wasim Akram
Muttiah Muralitharan
Wes Hall

You should also say "Only when playing at home on doctored pitches". How many games did they win for India abroad?

Who's King, Andrew? I am not familiar with him. Also, Sobers in the best bowlers list is a little iffy for my taste.
I would probably go with
Akram
Lillee
Warne
Holding
Laker

Just off the top of my head though, there certainly is a lot of great bowlers to choose from in making a best 5 list.

they actually troubled several batsmen dude, and you cannot expect them to do well oustandingly well on a Aussie green pitch! You also have to compare what fast bowlers achieved in the sub-continent against quality attacks.

Sobers, a great pace bowler, and a great slow left armer, both finger spin and wrist spin. Worth a spot for that all-round bowling ability alone.

Bart King is an American cricketer who played his first class cricket prior to the first World War. Players who faced him said he was comfortably the best bowler they'd ever faced. On a tour to England with Philadelphia in 1908 he played 10 first class games and took 87 wickets at the amazing average of 11.01. This remained the best bowling average in an English season for more than 50 years. In his career he took 415 wickets at 15.67 in first class cricket , and in all cricket [font=Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif][size=-1]took 2,088 wickets at an average of 10.47. Also once performed the impressive feat of taking 10 wickets in an innings followed by a hat-trick in the second.

Easily the best player never to play Test cricket.

G. McGrath - Most accurate bowler
M. Holding - Generated pace from a very smooth action...Best bowling action ever
I. Khan - Best combination of pace and swing
