The unofficial pre-game database editor will be hosted by CricketWeb and should be available for download on the day of release (next Friday).

The editor allows you to add/edit/delete players - changing every aspect of their abilities.

Its only for 2007 and you can only edit players (at the moment). Time and interest permitting, I could add the ability to edit teams/countries.

I cant seem to open the editor..?
Are all the files in there that are supposed to be ?

It is the executable JAR file. Its written in Java, so you'll need to download the pre-requisites as specified in the readme (and rename the data files accordingly).

I have renamed the files to the correct names and have installed Java version 6 update 1, is that the right one as I still cant seem to open it up ?

Provided it mentioned something about run time environment files it should be the right one.

Can you take a screenshot of the directory now?

I've double checked everything here and when I double click on the CCEditor JAR file, the editor takes a few moments to load and then displays itself.

I'll keep investigating, hopefully its a simple issue to resolve.

Have you tried doing a reboot after installing the Java runtime environment?
