Well I think the commentary is much better!

Most here seem to be just dismissing the commentary.

But it is no where near as " IN YA FACE" as before.
There is not as much Jim Maxwell, and it's only
every now and then, that I here them say something
irrelivent.

I am quite content to have it on, where "no way" I
could listen to it before.

It drives me crazy every time a fielder on the boundary misfield and Benaud applauses his athleticism "X sprinting on the boundary" :

The one that annoys me is when Benaud says and 'thats his first boundary' and the player hasnt even hit a four or six. And the wins by 1 runs instead of X wickets is a real pain.

THe commentry is just wrong. It seems like if Benard goes out of his way to say everything oppisite..

If it breaks the field, its good fielding
if he fields it, then the ball is heading to the boundry
if we bat first benard will let us know that we have a big total to chase

cric 2004 commentry was quite rubbish but this one has very few errors it seems to me :s they could make so much mroe of it though. more commentry teams woul be good. bring in botham and bumble!

The commentary is really pathetic. Once I defended a ball and the keeper ran in to pick it up. He missed it and Jim goes "Oh Dear. Thats terrible fielding"

Another time I hit the ball on the ground to short cover and Richie goes "Thats the first boundary for X"

Cant they just stop replaying the old lines?
