Well I would say it was a little better than expect before seeing the pool table set. But then when I saw it, in my mind, W.I. were suppose to beat New Zealand, Bangladesh, Canada and Kenya and lose against Sri Lanka and South Africa.
Well plans changed:

1.South Africa match, prediction - lost badly, result - almost lost. If it wasn't for a few side screen incidents and other little things, the 1-over reduction for slow over rate which saved them, west indies would have lost the match. Brilliant century by Lara though, and Brilliant bowling by Drakes.

2.New Zealand match, prediction - scraped win, result - almost won. If it wasn't for the stupid mistake by the selectors to pick MCLEAN OF ALL ****ING PEOPLE...New Zealand would have score at least 23 runs less...leaving their total about less than 10 less than what west indies scored. I mean my GOD! South Africa got a 25-run over in a TEST match vs. West Indies in 2001 off McLean. And also, the batsmen seemed to be concerned (prematurely) about the last aspect, NET RUN RATE. They seemed to want to rush to 240something.

3.Bangladesh match, prediction - #### of an embarrassing loss for Bangladesh, result - RAIN I HATE YOU, SO ****ING MUCH!!!!! My god west indies...get it together!!! you all were suppose to score 300something and lose say about 4 wickets and have them 30something for 4 at the point the rain fell...no further comments.

{In the meanwhile New Zealand forfeited their points, which I think gave Kenya a huge confidence boost and cause west indies to be much lower than expected in the table}

4.Canada match - prediction - same as Bangladesh match, result - exact prescription filled out and receive :P. If there's a Canadian fan reading this, DAVISON saved your arse. 111..splendid, splendid but not as splendid as watching you all collapse for 202. THEN came the murder of the poor...white ball...I swear it was attempted murder of people sitting in the front rows OR maybe they payed them after the match to field the balls or bullets. Only disappointment...Gayle...not very good batting.

5.Sri Lanka match - prediction - well...let's just say..., result - much better performance at the beginning on match than I expected. I HATE Muralitharan and Vaas (vASS) they are just too two perfect bowlers..and I hate them :P. What I think caused us to lose by 6 MEASELY runs, is Collins' bowling 62runs of 10 overs...then Lara...he only scored 1.....that's not the bad part.....1 of 22 balls...he wasted 20 valuable balls. Why didn't you just hit a single of your first ball and then next ball you face get out LARA!!!!! I think you also have 375 FAILURES!!!! :angry: I think Drakes played wonderfully...with the bat...and Sarwan also....but then...I think there's a W.I>>S.L curse...everytime W.I. plays against or in Sri Lanka, something happens to one of our players. First it was Lara and his elbow in the W.I. in Sri Lanka series. Then it was Lara again with Hepatitis or however it spells during the Chapions Trophey. Then now...in the World Cup, Sarwan and his helmet-on-ear bouncer from Fernandes or Fernando (I DON'T CARE!!) luckily...the 3rd incident kept the player out for less than a MONTH

that is all...for now...West Indies vs. Kenya tomorrow!!!!

P.S. I am a die hard West Indies (Couch :laugh: ) fan...so no offence for above comments made

nice one mate, you should have seen me throwing bricks at the television when i saw the rain in Harare... :angry: ...nothing comes between me and england playing cricket...now thats a hardcore fan...you know you're a die hard when you start throwing things around the living room :P
