With the debate of the forms of the game raging strong, I ask which form of the game you prefer to play and why?

We play 45 so I just said 40. You get to bowl more and make more runs. Twenty20 doesn't take up the whole day though so can be a lot better in that you don't have to organise everyhting around it and lose a whole day. I prefer 12 over games myself anyway ;)

but at the end of the day
friends come and go

u will never succeed like that if ur really that good
i mean
if u and ur friend were working and had the same job, but u were offered a higher position wudnt u rather take it instead of being in the same level as ur friend.
like im 14 and i play for under 17

Yeah, Stuart MacGill never passed up a Test match to stay and help out Casson.

If I'm batting, I like the 3 day one. Less pressure to play shots.

If I'm bowling, 20 overs. More chances for wickets and less time in the field...

So I'll settle for the happy medium of 40 overs...50 is just a bit long.

I used to like playing 50 overs, because it gives me a better chance of actually getting a bowl!

Hopefully I'll get more opportunity when I join a club this coming season.

50 overs or 40 overs is true cricket and you can rate a batsman or a bowler by only these 2 formats
