Who is NZ's best batsman at the moment?

For the record Jesse Ryder is our best test batsmen, he had a very good year.

I'm just curious about what others think about them.If you think that i think they are those four boxes you mentioned,you are wrong mate.I'm not violating any rules here.So,i can't see why i shouldn't ask questions related to NZ cricket.I personally respect them as they are a very very gutsy side to play good cricket more often than not despite being unable to produce a lot of world class cricketers.

When did I say you were violating any rules? you just create tons of threads that really mean nothing at all, you could (please don't do it) just have an NZ thread where you could ask all of these questions but instead you make like 60 threads. I'd rather you did none of the above, and just posted in certain threads about the things you want to know.

He has been portrayed as by the media, but he has been fairly poor in T20 internationals. And in ODI cricket Ryder, Guptill, and even McCullum have been better. In test cricket it is between him and Ryder, but I would give that too Ryder.

Well at the moment their best batsman isn?t Taylor its Redmond

In last 25 ODI games he averages 43 including that forgettable England series for him.

Also in those 25 games 12 were won by NZ and he averaged 73 in them.

Ryder meanwhile has average of 39 in his career and 38 in matches won by NZ.

So if Taylor fires NZ is more or less guaranteed victory.
