There are as many Wrestling fans as football fans (Which has its on forum), I don't see why not, WHM?

Because there isn't the same level of discussion, about 3000 posts in the few wrestling threads I can see, compared to 10,000 more than that in the football forum. Also, there is nothing stopping a few extra threads if you don't want to confine it to a single one, provided they aren't overlapping there is no problem with it.

The activity doesn't justify a forum, especially for a Cricket site. If we said that Wrestling deserved one, it gives a bad precedent for other sports. For example the F1 thread's popularity could lead some to want a Motorsport subforum, then an AFL one, a Rugby League one in retaliation to that, etc.

GODDAMMIT! thats what i was going to post! sport has to be competitive, wrestling isnt competative! its also lots of half naked man, coved in oil touching each other. im sure PC doesnt want to be connected to that sort of thing

Agreed its choriographed and people dont play for wins. It is not a sport, its should be in the General Section

There is a fine balance between being a cricket site, and providing for other discussion. Cricket is a sport, so it only makes sense to have a forum for other sports, it is just we don't want to put too much of an emphasis on it, so we aren't about to go mad with sub-forums for all sorts of sports. Football has earned a sub-forum, but I don't see any other sports warranting one at this stage.

Start multiple threads on different aspects of wrestling if you must, but it's not going to get a subforum. Association Football is the biggest sport in the world, hence its subforum.

Not gonna happen. It's fine as it is, you can't compare the popularity of Wrestling to Football (or whatever you want to call it). There is not anything like enough demand to warrant it's own sub-forum.

Also no way in hell should wrestling get it's own forum. Football should as it is the most popular secondary sport, otherwise if anymore sports forums start getting posted it just becomes Planetsport

If chess is a sport. Cricket is definately a sport. Not that I think chess is bad, i like it but I always thought about it is a game. Technically I know realise of course, it is a sport.

@WHM, what I said does relate to the topic. It'd make us look like idiots if we made a sub-forum for it under 'Other Sports' or 'Sports' because everyone knows (even if there fans try to forget) it isn't a sport. We aren't un-udecated here, we know it isn't a sport. Therefore there shouldn't even be a question about whether to make a forum for it.

@ Aus. I agree, soccer/football deserves one. It does have a lot of support and is the most played game on earth and if we didn't the other sports would be very crowded i think.
