Apparently, there's a new Xbox 360 bundle coming at Christmas that will include a 250gb Xbox 360 and Modern Warfare 2. Apart from the extra storage space, is there anything else improved about that Xbox?

I saw in a catalogue, that their selling this 360 bundle which is the 120GB Elite console package with Halo: ODST for $449 AU.

I feel so ripped when deals like this go out, I got my Elite console for $600 AU, and to top that, I paid an extra $80 for Halo 3 :facepalm

The HDD's the main selling point.

Comes out Nov 10 alongside MW2, and since no European prices are announced, there's the Forza 3+250GB Xbox 360 coming out in the UK on Oct 23 for ?250 - 'cept probably without the fancy customized design. :D

Obviously, expect something from the PS3 too, if their current secret-keeping record's anything to go by.

Also, saw a 60GB 360 on sale here on retail for 100 bucks last week (about ?60). Skimped on it so I could regret it later. :D

^ Oh Em Gee.

I feel even more ripped, thats just awesome. Not only the aesthetic design, but the value. 2 controllers, MW2 and a 250GB HDD.

Right now I have a PS3 I have played both machines and right now I would say the PS3 is the better machines manly for the better graphics but I would say the XBOX360 has better online but considering you need to pay for it the PS3 is the better machine also there is a rumor the PS3 is going to have a upgrade I dont no if this is true but it is supposed to blow the XBOX360's internet out of the sky.

But in my opinion, the PS3 is the better machine:happy

Am I the only one who's never had a problem with PSN? I've never had a problem with any of the games I play on-line with the PS3, plus, I could never see me paying ?40/year to play on-line. One of the reasons why they sell it so much cheaper.

Oh, and I'll soon have a PS3 with a 1TB HDD in it.

Don't think even 1 MB more space will make any difference to my PS3. I do not need to install games on my drive to play at normal speed or reduce noises.

If I want extra space I will buy new Hard Disk than whole new console. Also with BC coming next summer my friends collection of PS2 titles will come handy.

Dont get me wrong the PS3 network is fine as it is and will have a upgrade in 2010

Why do they charge ?30 a year for online play on Xbox? What's so good about the online features/services to justify that, vs the PS3's free service? You still have to pay for DLC on Xbox as well, don't you?

Edit: I wonder if you can get places like GAME to put a wired controller in there for you instead of wireless, as the room it will be used in isn't huge and the wireleless ones need batteries, don't they? Whereas the PS3 one just plugs in and charges. Correct me if I'm wrong. :)

Add UFC: Undisputed to that deal for the same price and thats what they are offering now. Oh how I feel ripped even more. I think I'm going to sell my 360 to buy that, tbh. Make $300 with Assassins Creed.

Does the Xbox 360 Elite come with the ability to go online wireless, like the PS3? An ethernet cable snaking all the way down the stairs isn't an option, so does it come with built in wireless, or can you get an adapter? :)

Adapters are about ?50.

Wow, that's steep. So it doesn't come with built in wireless. MS need to sort their game out: Sony offer free online and it comes with wireless already built in. Add to that the fact that the controllers don't need batteries...MS could learn a bit from Sony. :)

Great thing about the ps3 is that everything is included, once you spend the initial investment in the console you dont have to buy anything else. The controller is wireless, it has a HDD, it has a wirelass card and the online is free. Plus as a sweet bonus you get a blue ray player!

This is great for the casual gamer such as myself, who does not really play too much and would never play online if one had to pay $ to do so.

And I love the fact I can watch the iPlayer with my PS3.
