Tried your fields last night Zim.

I had trouble selecting the ODI ones.
Some times you could see the fielders move around while
selecting and sometimes not.
I had to stuff around heaps to get any changes.
Also they did not change around for a L/R hand
combination as I noticed happening with the few
test fileds that I tried out.

I have the same problem with the fielders not always automatically appearing when first selecting some fields. Afraid don't know why this happens, maybe other forum members have come across this ?

As for fields not changing over for left right handed batsmen, I have never had this problem. Which fields in particular was it, and I will try mine. Does this happen when you bowl or when cpu bowls ?

I didn't realise people actually use my fields as it is such a personal thing. I have actually made better ones than the ones I did for the patches, I will send you those instead. you will still have the prob with fields not automatically appearing when first selected, but shouldn't have L/R problem.

All I can think of is that when for example a RHB scores a single, before the program recognizes a LHB is facing, you have selected a new field. It still thinks its for a RHB, and sets field accordingly?? but don't know really ???

HI Zim,
I am Babai and I too had th same problem when using your latest patch for ODI/Test. When I bat the field settings and the fielder stop the ball in One day internationals. But when CPU bats the fielders and the field settings are not good. Can u please mail me the field settings that you have recently made to me at [email protected]. We all use your field settings for one day as well as test as they are good. We all want the new improved field settings that u made where the cpu players dive and stop the ball even at boundry. Also please mail me the sangamms field setings whicg he prepared for Cool BLC3 updated patch.

Babai.

"But when CPU bats the fielders and the field settings are not good. "

babai, please explain more fully by what you mean ?

I will certainly send you my latest fields, but have never created a fielding patch whereby the fielders dive and stop the ball at the boundary (this only happens when standard program decides a slidedive is required as normal)

Also, sadly I do not have the updated fields from sangams cool BLC patch 3 :(

"I didn't realise people actually use my fields as it is such a personal thing."

As there are an infinite number fields one could set, I could
spend an eternity making my mind up what field to make.

I am quite happy to let a knowledgable cricket fan make up
my mind for me. Plus it's not as simple as moving men around
like in ICC. I know the field editor is really cool and all that
but never seem to get around to actually using it.

Have you actually got sagam's patch 3 Zim.
Could you please send it to me if you have, and if you think
it is worth it, and it's not too big for you to send.
thanx.

I don't have sangamms cool patch 3. I am not really sure what it's supposed to do I am afraid. Sangamm "takes his time" when it comes to updating his site, so hopefully one of the other forum members can help you
